This incident took place during the delivery of the “Annual report of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and reports of the Office of the High Commissioner and the Secretary-General, at a recent United-Nations Human Rights Council meeting in Geneva (March 6, 2009). It involves David Littman (Historian and NGO for the Association for World Education) and Marius Grinius, Vice-President of the Human Rights Council.
Item #2 on the agenda was being discussed:”Freedom of expression and advocacy of religious hatred that constitutes incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence”.
When you watch the short video found at
you will see Mr Littman being interrupted in the middle of his presentation.
You quickly realize that when it comes to Human Rights, there appears to be a double standard.
Muslim anti-Semitism is a clearly a forbidden topic at the United Nations.
Does it seem like Israel and the Jewish people are not receiving a fair treatment or am I way off?
An Egyptian Cleric said on Al-Rahma TV on Jan. 19, 2009:
“If the Jews left Palestine to us, would we start loving them? Of course not. We will never love them.”…”They are enemies not because they occupied Palestine. They would be enemies even if they did not occupy a thing”. “We must believe that our fighting with Jews is eternal, and it will not end until the final battle…You must believe that we will fight, defeat, and annihilate them, until not a single Jew remains on the face of the earth (MEMRI).
It is false idea that the world has that if Israel was to stops fighting and getting along with the rest of the middle east, it would bring peace.
Someone once said:”If the Palestinians stop fighting, there would be peace in the middle east, if Israel stop fighting, there would be no more Israel in the middle east.”
Israel only defends herself against the aggression. Many Israeli do want peace and many Palestinians also do want peace. Unfortunately, radical Islam has a different agenda that starts with Israel but continues with the rest of Western civilization.
They [muslims and the rest of the world] need Yeshua (Jesus).
I see all of us believers in need of a renewed boldness in our witness to others. What do you think?
Welcome to my new blog.
For the last decade, I have researched, studied, taught against and written about the New Anti-Semitism. It is my desire to educate further and discuss the danger of this reborn and morphed beast.
I have labeled today’s anti-Semitism the “NEW Anti-Semitism” because in several ways it is new. It has new boundaries, a new source, and of course a new methodology. It is the new culprit and the real danger. It is different, much broader and much more damaging than the anti-Semitism of old used to be.
I invite and welcome your comments.
